Ruan Strydom

Ruan Strydom is currently the Global Manufacturing Excellence: Performance & Standardisation Lead at Syngenta Group, having transitioned from various roles at Syngenta from May 2017, including Project Management Officer, Continuous Improvement Lead, and Operational Excellence Manager. Ruan has expertise in continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean tool sets, process analysis, and the implementation of best business practices to enhance productivity and safety while reducing costs. Prior to work at Syngenta, Ruan focused on staff management and training as Centre Manager at Siyakha Education Trust Learning Lab and held corporate trainer positions in different organizations. Ruan holds a BCom in Marketing Management from the University of Pretoria and completed matriculation at Lydenburg High School with a focus on business studies.
