Daniel Dean

Daniel Dean is a Process Safety Engineer at Syngenta since February 2023, where responsibilities include serving as the Dust and MOC lead for various units and facilitating Project PHAs and PHA Revalidations. Previously, Daniel worked at Hexion Inc. from March 2020 to February 2023 as a Plant Engineer, managing projects exceeding $1 million and serving as the PSM coordinator. Earlier experience includes roles at LSU College of Engineering as a Supplementary Instruction Leader and Optimization Teaching Assistant, as well as serving as a Material Intern at CF Industries, where recognition as top material intern was received in 2017. Daniel's career began at National Electric Motor & Supply Company, Inc. as a Machine Apprentice and Material Handler. Daniel holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Environmental Health from Louisiana State University, completed in 2019.
