Greg Edmundson has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Greg started their career at GTE Data Services, where they held roles as a Systems Supervisor and later as a Section Manager. In 1997, they joined Syniverse Technologies as a Manager for Provisioning/Support in Distributed Systems.
Throughout their time at Syniverse Technologies, Edmundson held several leadership positions. Greg served as the Manager of UNIX/NT Product Support, overseeing domestic and international production support for various applications. Greg also managed infrastructure support teams for product delivery, including system test, configuration management, and development and test system administration.
In 2004, Edmundson became the Director of Support Services, where they were responsible for system test, configuration management, UNIX and Tandem lab system administration, and Oracle database administration teams. During this time, they were also involved in technical due diligence for Syniverse's M&A opportunities.
Edmundson then transitioned to become the Vice President of Technical Operations, leading teams of directors, managers, and engineers in 24/7 operations for multiple products on different processing platforms. Greg successfully implemented standardized practices and procedures, resulting in increased operating efficiencies and reduced errors.
In 2009, Edmundson took on the role of Vice President of Global Clearing Operations, responsible for revitalizing dysfunctional operations teams and improving customer confidence in Syniverse's GSM Clearinghouse. Within six months, they turned the teams into a cohesive unit, resulting in improved customer support and satisfaction.
Finally, in 2012, Edmundson assumed the position of Vice President of Global Clearing & Professional Services at Syniverse Technologies.
Greg Edmundson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Math from Milligan College, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Greg also attended University High, although the specific years and any degrees or fields of study are unknown.
