Kate Atteberry

Kate Atteberry is a seasoned information security professional with extensive leadership experience across various sectors. Currently, as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Syniverse since April 2020, Kate has acted as a senior leader for a team during a key vacancy, managing multiple projects through cross-functional collaborations. Previously, Kate served as Chief Information Security Officer for the Illinois Department of Human Services, where strategic leadership and risk management were core responsibilities. Additional roles include Product Development Manager at the Illinois Department of Human Services and Senior Manager of Information Technology Operations in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. Kate holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Visualization Technology from ITT Technical Institute and two Bachelor's degrees in Mass Communication/Media Studies and English from Illinois State University.
