Christian Orellano

Christian Orellano has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Christian began their career as a Chemistry Teacher at Technische Berufsschule Frauenfeld in 2004. Christian then worked as a Trainee at the Functional Genomics Center Zurich before joining sia Abrasives- A Bosch Company in 2005. At sia Abrasives, they held positions as a Project Engineer and later became the Head of Engineering. In 2014, they joined Schmid-Rhyner AG as a Verfahrensentwickler. Currently, Christian is working at SYNLAB Suisse SA, where they have held multiple roles including Standortleiter, Head of Operations North, and Deputy Director of Operations Deutschschweiz.

Christian Orellano has a diverse education history. In 2001-2005, they attended the University of Zurich where they obtained their Dr.sc.nat and PhD in organic chemistry. In 2013, they participated in the Kaderkurs Strategieseminar. In 2014, they attended QS Zurich and became certified as an Auditor for internal audits. In 2019, Christian attended VZPM and earned the certification of Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D, with a focus on Projektmanagement.
