Melissa Remy

Melissa Remy is a specialist in laboratory medicine currently employed at MEDISYN SA since September 2020, while also serving as a FAMH candidate in Microbiology and Clinical Chemistry. Previously, Melissa held positions at the University of Bern in the Institute for Infectious Disease from July 2016 to September 2020 as a Microbiology Assistant and Postdoctoral Research Assistant, focusing on diagnostic microbiology and innovative diagnostics under Dr. med P. Keller. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Basel from December 2013 to June 2016, concentrating on immunology and virology, as well as a PhD student role at the University of Geneva from November 2009 to November 2013, examining immune protection and pathogenesis of viral infections. Educational qualifications include a Master of Biosciences in Molecular and Cellular Biology from École normale supérieure de Lyon and an engineering degree from ISARA Lyon.
