Edward Shenderovich

Edward Shenderovich is the co-founder and CEO of Synonym Biotechnologies. Edward has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on internet media and software.

Shenderovich began their career as Head of Strategic Development at SUP Media, a Moscow-based online media company. Edward was responsible for the company's strategy, product development, partnerships, and M&A activity. Edward led SUP's acquisitions of LiveJournal, Championat.ru, Gazeta.ru, and other companies. Edward also oversaw LiveJournal's growth in Russia.

In 2016, Shenderovich joined the board of Domo, Inc., where they served as a board observer until 2018. Edward then co-founded Knotel, a flexible workspace provider, and served as its executive chairman until 2021.

Shenderovich has also served on the boards of Plated, Delivery Hero Holding, and Tradeshift. Edward is a founding partner of Kite Ventures and was a co-founder and board member of Merchantry from 2004 to 2015.
