Aaron Barker is a Senior Architect in R&D Engineering at Synopsys Inc since December 2017, specializing in Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) and Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO), with experience in PVT sensors and infield age-degradation monitoring. Previously, as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, Aaron successfully delivered the requirements for the IARPA SuperTools Program, developing a superconducting circuit design flow involving Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Technology Computer Aided Design (TCAD) tools. Prior to Synopsys, Aaron served as a Senior Principal Hardware Engineer at Oracle, co-inventing a fast Monte Carlo analysis method leveraging Machine Learning for circuit behavior prediction. Additionally, Aaron’s background includes significant roles at Sun Microsystems in Monte Carlo simulation and physics-based device modeling, and an early internship at EchoStar Corporation focused on software test engineering. Aaron holds an SCPD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a degree from the University of Wyoming.
