Afonso Oliveira

Afonso Oliveira is a Senior Software Engineer at Synopsys Inc, specializing in RISC-V innovation, where they enhance architectures, build verification tools, and contribute to open-source collaboration. Afonso actively develops Zephyr RTOS support for RISC-V architectures and leads the RISC-V Unified Database project. Previously, they researched hypervisor-level performance isolation for embedded AI systems at Centro Algoritmi as a Student Researcher. Afonso holds a bachelor's degree and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidade do Minho.
