Akram Refaei

Akram Refaei, Ph.D., is a Senior Analog & Mixed-Signal Design Engineer at Synopsys Inc., where they focus on advanced analog and mixed-signal design techniques. Akram previously worked at Dolphin Semiconductor and held various internships, including at Cairo University and Mixel-Egypt, where they published research papers on topics like triboelectric nanogenerators and non-invasive glucose sensing. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Zewail City of Science and Technology, graduating cum laude, and are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal with a focus on analog and mixed-signal design.
