André Alves is an ASIC Digital Design Engineer at Synopsys Inc with a background in Industrial Electronics. Having earned a Master's degree in Embedded Systems, André has held various roles, including President of the Núcleo de Estudantes de Engenharia Eletrónica Industrial e Computadores and Vice President for Sports at the Associacao Academica da Universidade do Minho. Previously, André worked as a vigilante at Tempo Livre Guimarães, supervising pool activities and ensuring safety. Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, André has also contributed to educational initiatives as a collaborator with the IEEE UMinho Student Branch.
