Andreas Junghanns is the CEO and Co-Founder of explai GmbH, where they are currently building products and running projects focused on simulation and co-simulation for embedded software validation. With extensive experience in advanced computational methods, they previously led the FMI project at the Modelica Association, managing a global team to produce the FMI standard. Prior to that, Andreas co-founded and managed QTronic GmbH, specializing in embedded software development and testing tools. They earned a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, where they were involved in AI research.
