Andrew Stanley

Andrew Stanley is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within the engineering sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Synopsys Inc since January 2024, Andrew has been self-employed since March 2019 while also pursuing a graduate degree in Advanced Software Development at UHI Inverness from September 2022 to November 2024. Previous positions include Maintenance Department Manager at SIMEC Lochaber Hydropower Ltd, Senior Consultant & Team Leader at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, and Operations & Maintenance Manager for Atlantis Resources Limited's tidal turbine project. Andrew has also held significant roles at Voith Hydro Wavegen, Mercedes-Benz HPE, and Team KR, focusing on engineering management, team leadership, and innovative project development. Andrew holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and has completed secondary education at Merchant Taylors' School, Crosby.
