Andy Jolley

Andy Jolley has extensive experience in field application engineering and FPGA prototyping, beginning with a role as Field Application Engineer for Altera Technologies at Memec from 1997 to 1999. From June 1999 to May 2008, Andy served as Senior Field Application Engineer at Synplicity Inc. Following that, a position as Staff Applications Consultant at Synopsys (NE) Ltd was held from May 2008 to December 2011, focusing on FPGA Implementation and Prototyping Technologies. Currently, Andy is employed at Synopsys Inc as Principal Application Engineer and also holds the title of Senior Staff Application Consultant for World Wide PLL FPGA Prototyping since December 2011. In September 2024, Andy transitioned to Arm as Principal Engineer in FPGA Prototyping. Academic qualifications include a 1st Class Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Brighton, acquired between 1984 and 1987.
