Asif Wahid

Asif Wahid has a comprehensive background in electrical and computer engineering, specializing in analog and mixed-signal IC design. Experience includes an internship as a VLSI Design Engineer at Neural Semiconductor Ltd. and a Graduate Technical Internship at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities involved analog regression planning and validation of PCIE PHY building blocks. Asif served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah, contributing to several advanced projects, including the design and fabrication of low-noise phase-locked loops for 5G applications and developing innovative signaling schemes for wireline communication. Asif holds a Master of Science and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Utah, following a Bachelor of Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Currently, Asif works as a Staff Engineer in Analog Design at Synopsys Inc.
