Badri Gopalan

Badri Gopalan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, engineering, and technology innovation. Currently serving as an R&D Scientist at Synopsys, Inc. since February 2007, Badri focuses on the architecture and specification of verification technology, incorporating machine learning and generative AI. As Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at 1APP since September 2012, Badri plays a key role in advancing breakthrough patented technology for mobile app interaction. Previous roles include consulting at Varian Medical Systems, managing chip design and verification at Ageia Technologies, and leading R&D teams at Synopsys in various capacities. Badri began the career in VLSI design at Cadence Design Systems and holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, along with a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
