Beomtaek Lee is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Sr. Director of Analog Design at Synopsys Inc since February 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure at Intel Corporation from April 2003 to January 2025, where responsibilities included signal integrity engineering and platform development for a 2Tbps optical compute interconnect chiplet, as well as leading projects on QuickPath and fully buffered DIMM interconnects for Itanium and Xeon products. Beomtaek Lee holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
