Bill Spaeder

Bill Spaeder is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Sales at Synopsys Inc since August 2015, Bill leads the North America emulation and prototyping sales team, facilitating hardware and software validation for chip developers. Prior to this role, Bill held key positions such as Director of Emerging Technology Sales at Atrenta, where sales expanded from 5 to 25 logos, and VP of Strategic Accounts at both Berkeley Design Automation and Magma Design Automation, significantly increasing business penetration among top semiconductor firms. Bill's earlier experience includes a successful tenure as Sales Director at Avant!, where leadership of a 15-person team led to over $30 million in annual sales, and notable achievements in initial sales roles at Zycad. Bill Spaeder holds an MBA from Saint Joseph's University and a BSEE from Villanova University.
