Chao HE

Chao Chao is currently a Mixed-Signal Verification Principal Engineer at Synopsys Inc, specializing in state-of-the-art SerDes verification and modeling. Previously, Chao served as a Principal SOC Architect at ST-Ericsson from 2003 to 2009, where they developed and deployed three generations of 3G cell phone baseband SOCs. Chao's extensive experience also includes roles as a Mixed-Signal Verification Principal Engineer at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd., and as an ASIC Design Engineer at NEC Corporation. Chao completed a research assistantship at Carleton University, focusing on high-speed serial data communications. Chao is pursuing degrees in Electronics at Zhejiang University and Optical Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
