Christopher Bird

Christopher Bird is a skilled C/C++ and HDL engineer with a strong focus on EDA, FPGA toolchains, and hardware optimization. They served as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Davis, where they developed image processing algorithms and implemented them on FPGAs. Christopher has extensive experience as a Lab Manager at UC Davis and in diverse roles at TJB Ventures, Inc. Since 2022, they have been a Senior II R&D Software Engineer specializing in PG routing optimization at Synopsys Inc, building on previous experience at Lattice Semiconductor where they contributed to various HDL compiler improvements. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
