Clarence Cromwell

Clarence Cromwell is an experienced technical publications manager currently with Black Duck since October 2024, and has also held a similar position at Synopsys Inc since August 2018, where responsibilities included leading documentation for the Polaris cloud-based platform focused on automated application security testing. Prior to this, Clarence served as a Senior Technical Writer and Staff Technical Writer at Synopsys, contributing significantly to the Polaris Software Integrity Platform documentation, covering APIs and user interfaces. Additional experience includes roles at Arxan Technologies, where developer-facing documentation was created, and at Bay Ship & Yacht Co., where procedures and inspection plans were documented to ensure compliance with industry standards. Clarence holds a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature from the University of Michigan and has pursued further education through Stanford Continuing Studies and City College of San Francisco from 2013 to 2016.
