Craig Forward

Craig Forward is an accomplished engineering professional with over 26 years of experience in hardware design, verification, and management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Silicon Hardware at Synopsys Inc. since October 2016, Craig leads a Hardware IP Solutions Team focused on innovative security protocols and applications, ensuring the alignment of engineering and marketing efforts. Previously, Craig held multiple roles at Cisco, culminating as a Senior Architect and Designer in the Routing ASIC Group, where contributions included leading design and verification teams for complex ASIC subsystems. Early career experience includes positions at Nortel Networks, focusing on ASIC and FPGA design verification. Craig holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
