Daniel Moreira

Daniel Moreira is an experienced ASIC Digital Design Engineer and Manager at Synopsys Inc, with a focus on digital front-end design and verification, analog modeling, and the development of digital sub-systems for low-power wireless communications targeting the Internet of Things. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at CERN as an Electronics Engineer Trainee, contributing to firmware design and development for the ATLAS Tile Calorimeter, as well as developing test benches for system monitoring using Python and ROOT. Daniel's earlier position as a Monitoring Systems Engineer at EFACEC Engenharia e Sistemas involved designing and commissioning SCADA systems for solar photovoltaic power plants. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Telecommunications from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, an MSc thesis from Óbuda University, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, alongside a First Certificate in English from the Cambridge School Institute.
