David Allen

David Allen possesses extensive experience in the electronic design automation (EDA) industry, currently serving as a Scientist and having held various senior engineering positions at Synopsys since December 2011. Prior roles include Product Director at Atrenta, overseeing a global team and managing low power design products, and Fellow at Sequence Design, where David led product implementation for power optimization features. Earlier positions involve staff scientist roles at Sente Inc, where David developed industry-first RTL power estimators, and managerial responsibilities at Viewlogic Systems, focusing on FPGA and ASIC optimization. David began a career at MIT Lincoln Laboratories as a member of the technical staff, specializing in advanced signal processor design. David holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
