Derek Pecson

Derek Pecson is an experienced engineering and program management professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Director of Program Management at Synopsys Inc since March 2003, Derek focuses on Semiconductor Mask Manufacturing and Yield Management software products. Prior roles include Program Manager at Numerical Technologies, Inc., KANA Software, and Kana Communications, as well as a Propulsion Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Derek holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace and Astronautics Engineering from Purdue University.
