Emil Karapetyan is currently a Hardware Release Staff Engineer at Synopsys, having previously served as a Software Engineer at AMD from 2022 to 2024 and Xilinx from 2020 to 2022. Emil conducted research and developed novel algorithms aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of physical design software tools. In addition to practical experience, Emil holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Yerevan State University, which was earned in 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Radiophysics and Electronics from the same institution, completed in 2019. Early in their career, Emil gained foundational experience through a Quality Assurance internship at Synopsys Inc.
