Eric Schneider

Eric Schneider currently serves as the Sr. Director of Field Applications Engineering at Synopsys Inc, a position held since October 2012. In this role, Eric leads a team responsible for supporting emulation technology, managing multimillion-dollar revenue, and overseeing a large field engineering organization across the Central and East North American region. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Manager of Applications Engineering at Synopsys, where Eric established new customer relationships post-EVE acquisition, and as Sr. Field Application Engineer at EVE, successfully doubling the customer base in North America. Eric began his career in ASIC design at startups such as NetEffect and Banderacom and held positions at established companies including Altera and Motorola. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
