Erik Shank

Erik Shank, Ph.D., is a Senior Director for National Defense at Synopsys, where they manage the deployment of technology to enhance capabilities within the U.S. Department of Defense. Previously, Erik served as a Soldier and Innovation Officer with the 75th Innovation Command and held leadership roles at Ansys, focusing on defense technology implementation. They also conducted research at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Texas Medical Branch, where Erik earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology. With extensive experience in both military and technological domains, Erik has spearheaded initiatives to drive operational efficiency and innovation in defense solutions.
