Fred Chang

Fred Chang is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in quality engineering and new product introduction. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Quality Engineer at Synopsys Inc. since March 2022, Fred has been a key contributor to the success of hardware new product introductions. Previous roles include Senior NPI Program Manager at Gener8, Director of Manufacturing Operations at Tilt Five, and Manufacturing Engineer at Orbotech/KLA, where Fred developed critical processes for product assembly and calibration. Fred also held managerial positions at Neptec Optical Solutions, where financial analyses were conducted to address profitability issues, and has contributed to manufacturing strategy at Freeslate Inc. with extensive experience in integrating operations and improving product compliance across various companies, focusing on quality and efficiency metrics in manufacturing processes. Fred earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
