Gabriel Gonini

Gabriel Gonini is an Application Engineer II at Ansys, part of Synopsys, focusing on helping clients tackle complex engineering challenges in fluid dynamics and bulk solid handling. With a solid foundation in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where they obtained both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree, Gabriel has a proven track record in simulation, particularly in Discrete Element Method (DEM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Prior to their current role, Gabriel co-founded Apex Rocketry, where they conducted CFD studies to enhance rocket nozzle designs, earning accolades in regional competitions. They also gained experience through various internships and research positions, further enhancing their expertise in engineering simulations.
