Ibrahim Avci

Ibrahim Avci serves as the Senior Director of R&D at Synopsys Inc since October 2004, with previous roles as Director and Senior Manager R&D, where responsibilities include managing a software development team across multiple locations, providing technical leadership, and driving complex technical projects from concept to delivery. Avci has extensive experience in the development of Sentaurus Interconnect, an IC interconnect reliability analysis tool, and Sentaurus Process, an IC fabrication modeling tool. Prior to Synopsys Inc, Avci worked in R&D at Integrated Systems Engineering from May 2002 to October 2004 as a Software Engineer. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Dokuz Eylul University.
