Igor Böhm

Igor Böhm is a highly experienced software architect and technical lead at Synopsys since April 2012, where responsibilities include leading research and development for the DesignWare ARC nSIM processor simulation product and the initial bring-up of various ARC Core Families in simulation. Prior to this role, Igor served as CEO of ByteLABS from January 2001 to April 2012, managing several consulting projects. Igor also worked as a research associate at The University of Edinburgh in 2011, contributing to the PaStA project on microprocessor simulation techniques that were later integrated into Synopsys' offerings. Additional consulting roles include working with KEBA Group, WebDynamite IT Solutions GmbH, and REDTrade, where Igor focused on application development and infrastructure solutions for various clients, including Sony and PayLife Austria Bank. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh and degrees from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.
