Jason Jackson

Jason Jackson is a highly experienced professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as a Senior Staff Applications Consultant at Synopsys since March 2003. Prior to this role, Jason worked at Siroyan from November 2000 to February 2003 as a Design Engineer and Field Applications Consultant, focusing on HDL design and physical design validation for a soft IP VLIW processor. Jason's career began at GF Micro, where from July 1996 to November 2000, responsibilities included customer engagement, specification development, and RTL design as a Senior Design Engineer. Earlier experience includes a Design Engineer position at Space Innovations Ltd, where Jason was responsible for VHDL coding for telemetry systems, and a research student role at the University of Portsmouth, where Jason explored data capture schemes. Jason holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, completed in July 1992.
