Johanan Sowah

Johanan Sowah is currently a Staff Research Development Engineer at Synopsys and is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Columbia University. They previously worked as a System-on-Chip Design Engineer at Intel for four years, where they focused on backend physical design for next-generation processors. Johanan also gained experience as an FPGA Hardware Engineer at Palo Alto Networks and conducted significant research during their undergraduate studies at Columbia, including developing semiconductors and firmware. In addition to their engineering career, they served as a youth running coach at Nike, motivating young athletes.
