John MacBeth is an experienced Digital Design and Verification Engineer with over 21 years as a consultant in ASIC verification and related technologies. With a recent focus on the verification of digital design IP, MacBeth has worked extensively in the automotive sector, ensuring ISO26262 compliance at ASIL-B/C levels. They have specialized in verification methodologies, planning, and IP creation, utilizing tools such as UVM and SystemVerilog, and have held senior roles at notable companies including Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys Inc. MacBeth obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where they also completed their undergraduate studies.
