Jon Colburn currently serves as Chief Architect at Synopsys Inc since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jon was a Distinguished Engineer at NVIDIA from December 2002 to January 2024, focusing on DFT Methodology and Test Compression. Earlier experience includes positions at HPL Technologies as a Senior Member Technical Staff and Principal Engineer, where Jon contributed to Design for Yield product design and physical design analysis tools, and at Intel as an Engineering Co-op/Intern. Jon holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in VLSI testing from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned between 1993 and 1998.
