Jonathan Cobb

Jonathan Cobb is a highly experienced professional in the field of semiconductor technology and lithography, currently serving as a Staff Corporate Application Engineer at Synopsys Inc since October 2005. In this role, Jonathan supports the Sentaurus TCAD simulation software and develops Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO) simulation flows. Previously, Jonathan worked at Freescale Semiconductor and its predecessor Motorola, focusing on advanced lithography and contributing to major projects such as Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) lithography development. Jonathan's career began at the National Institute of Standards and Technology as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Research Associate, where research focused on electrical noise in single electron tunneling transistors. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Physics from Baylor University.
