Kaitlin Tyler

Kaitlin Tyler is currently a Senior Academic Program Engineer at Synopsys, overseeing academic content development and supporting the integration of Ansys tools in engineering curricula. Previously, Kaitlin served as the Academic Content Lead at Ansys, coordinating the creation of academic-focused content and managing the Ansys Innovation Courses. They held various roles at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, including Lab Manager and Graduate Research Assistant, where they focused on materials science and engineering education. Additionally, Kaitlin was active in multiple organizations, serving as the President of the Society of Women Engineers at Michigan State University and co-coordinating programs aimed at supporting women in STEM. They earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
