Kumar Mihir

Kumar Mihir is an accomplished professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of Application Engineering at Synopsys Inc since February 2024, where leadership is provided to the worldwide ECO Product Engineering organization. Previously, Kumar held various positions at Synopsys, including Director of Application Engineering, where responsibilities included managing global teams and addressing next-generation ECO challenges. Prior to Synopsys, Kumar was the Senior AE Manager at Dorado Design Automation, successfully building an application engineering team in India and supporting major semiconductor companies. Kumar's earlier experience includes roles at Cadence Design Systems as Principal Application Engineer, as well as positions at Azuro and ST Microelectronics, focusing on high-speed core implementation and physical design verification. Kumar earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from BIT Mesra.
