Lam Nguyen

Lam Nguyen, PhD, is a Senior R&D Engineer at Synopsys, where they focus on innovative developments in numerical methods and high-performance computing. They previously worked as an R&D Engineer II at Ansys and as a Software Engineer at LSTC, specializing in isogeometric analysis and improving computational scalability. Lam's academic background includes a PhD in Computational Mechanics from the University of Minnesota, where they also served as a Research Assistant, and they are currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. They have experience in teaching and mentoring students during their tenure as a Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
