Lin Dong is an accomplished R&D Sr. Staff Software Engineer at Synopsys Inc since April 2022, with extensive experience in semiconductor technology gained during a nearly nine-year tenure at Applied Materials. At Applied Materials, Lin managed critical integration modules for 2nm NanoSheet CMOS and 7nm FinFET CMOS, leading cross-functional teams in process flow design and software development for device data analysis using Python. Lin's work included pioneering efforts in logic FinFET and novel device architectures, identifying process integration requirements, and driving product teams to enhance processes and develop new products. Lin holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics from Fudan University.
