Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson is a Senior R&D Engineer at Synopsys Inc, where they focus on developing atomic scale simulation capabilities in the industry-leading Sentaurus Process tool. Their experience spans nearly 20 years in managing and developing finite element simulations for integrated circuits. Mark previously held positions at Integrated Systems Engineering, where they managed the development of a process simulation tool, and at Avant!, as a developer for the Taurus Process. They earned a PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Michigan, where they developed foundational knowledge that they now apply in industrial applications.
