Matthew Couch

Matthew Couch is an accomplished ASIC/Layout Staff Engineer at Synopsys since September 2014, where notable contributions include leading project designs and overseeing up to nine engineers on advanced technology projects, as well as facilitating a transition from Cadence design tools to Synopsys' Custom Designer tools. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Engineer at AMD, where Matthew deepened expertise in Cadence design tools and gained knowledge of multiple design specifications. Earlier, as an IC Layout Student Contractor at Synaptics, significant participation in the layout of key ICs and training of new hires was achieved. Matthew holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a BS in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
