Menno Verbeek

Menno Verbeek is an R&D Engineering Architect at Synopsys, specializing in large scale optimization, algorithm design and implementation, and parallel computing. They completed a PhD in Numerical Mathematics at Utrecht University, where they focused on iterative solvers and preconditioning for electromagnetic boundary integral equations. Menno's extensive experience includes roles as a postdoc researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, a member of the consulting staff at Magma Design Automation, and senior R&D engineer at Synopsys. They also contributed as a guest researcher at the University of Catania and as a graduate-student research assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
