Michael McManus

Michael McManus is an experienced architect and senior R&D engineer currently at Synopsys Inc since February 2017. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Cadence Design Systems as a principal design engineer in the IP Group, where a foundational IP group was established from the ground up. Michael has a strong background in IP circuit design from LSI Corp, leading the development of standard cell libraries, and has held various design and management roles at Belcan Corporation and Silicon Design Studios, focusing on embedded systems and consulting for IP providers. Michael’s career began at NCR Microelectronics, culminating in a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
