Pedro Moreira

Pedro Moreira is an R&D Director at Synopsys, where they currently lead a team of over 50 engineers in FPGA prototyping and software development. They began their career in 2003 as an R&D Engineer at HILTI AG and went on to work at CERN, contributing to high and ultra-high vacuum systems and critical timing infrastructure for particle accelerators. Pedro holds a PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from UCL and an Executive MBA focused on Business Innovation. With extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams, they drive innovation and deliver high-performance hardware solutions that have a significant impact on customers.
