Peter Wohl

Peter Wohl is a Synopsys Fellow who specializes in hardware and software development, with a focus on innovative products that tackle complex challenges. With over 20 years of experience, they have played a leading role in the development of groundbreaking technologies, including the first hardware-microcoded LISP machine and significant advancements in scan compression. Peter holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Electrical Engineering, and has taught at both the Illinois Institute of Technology and the University of Vermont. They have contributed to the industry through their work at National Semiconductor, IBM, and as a co-founder of Advanced Test Technologies, Inc. Currently, Peter leads the development of the next-generation ATPG product, TetraMAX II, at Synopsys, holding over 20 patents and presenting more than 30 papers in their field.
