Phil Morris

Phil Morris is a Senior Director at Synopsys Inc, with a tenure starting in September 2014. Previously held the positions of Director, Senior Manager, and Senior Staff Engineer, serving as a Physical Architect for DDR PHY and supporting customers in SoC planning and execution. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Engineer focused on IO design for DDR and HBM interface IP at Synopsys Inc, as well as a Member of Technical Staff at Advanced Micro Devices, specializing in high-speed IO design from October 2006 to September 2014. Phil's career began at Analogue Integration LTD, working as an Analogue/Digital Design Engineer from September 1997 to September 2006, engaging in gate and transistor level digital design and creating various analogue systems. Phil holds an MSc in VLSI System Design from the University of Westminster, earned between 2002 and 2005.
