Philippe McComber is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of routing tools and software for the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Senior Architect at Synopsys Inc. since June 2009, Philippe has led the creation of an interactive shape-based custom routing tool for the Custom Compiler platform, including the core routing engine and user interface. Prior roles include Senior Consulting Staff at Magma and Cadence Design Systems, where Philippe designed and integrated advanced routing solutions and optimized algorithms for VLSI circuits. Philippe began a career in software engineering at CAE Electronics, focusing on simulation software and field services. Philippe earned a degree from Université de Sherbrooke between 1987 and 1991.
