Ricardo Alves

Ricardo Alves is an Analog Design Engineer currently serving as an Analog Design Manager at Synopsys. With a focus on high-speed Ethernet Serdes interfaces, Ricardo has contributed to the successful design of several advanced products, including e112 Ethernet PHY and PCIe6, as well as a prototype e224, emphasizing interleaved SAR-ADC technology. Prior to joining the high-speed interface team, Ricardo spent five years working on low-speed, high-resolution, power-efficient SAR ADCs for MCU and IoT applications. Ricardo's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and proficiency in English from the British Council.
